Candye Daughhetee
Candye Daughhetee is a seasoned leader, faith-driven servant, and long-time resident of Garden Plain with over 20 years of executive leadership experience across the corporate, nonprofit, and community development sectors. She is running for Mayor of Garden Plain and for the Renwick USD 267 Board of Education, District 3 – Position 6, with a heart to serve and a vision to build a thriving, unified community.

Candye has lived in Garden Plain for more than a decade, raising her family and deeply engaging in the town’s values, people, and future. Her professional background spans human resources, operations management, leadership development, crisis response, and faith-based mentoring. She has been recognized for her ability to bring people together, listen intentionally, and lead with compassion, clarity, and confidence.

Candye is the owner of FaithZone Consulting Firm, where she equips leaders and organizations to serve with excellence, integrity, and purpose. She is also a published author, speaker, and advocate for strengthening families and communities through connection and collaboration.

Candye believes Garden Plain is a special place—a town where faith matters, families grow, and neighbors care for each other. Her campaign centers on Faith, Family, Finances, and the Future, with a commitment to bringing transparency, smart growth, and strong school partnerships to both city and school board leadership.

In her free time, Candye enjoys community service, faith-based teaching, spending time with her family, and cheering on local school events.

She’s not running for a title—she’s stepping forward with a purpose:
To serve, to listen, and to lead a community where everyone can thrive.
